Hamirpur Medical College also known as Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College was inaugurated by Jai Ram Thakur, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Hamirpur Medical College is now the 6th medical college of Himachal.
The college also has 250 bed Hospital facility. In addition to this there is capacity of 100 MBBS Seats in the college.
There was a huge demand of this college and Hospital by the people of Hamirpur. This medical college facilitates the people of four adjacent cities to Hamirpur.
Dr. Anil Chauhan is the current Principal of Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College and Dr.Anil Kumar Verma is the Sr. Medical Superintendent.
