How to become a Staff Nurse
Many students have a different aim in their life eg some want to become an engineer, some want to become Doctor. Course for Becoming Staff Nurse in Himachal Pradesh
To become a Staff Nurse, you can do one of the following courses:
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
The minimum qualification to join the course of GNM is 10+2 from PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) stream. The Course of GNM has a duration of 3 years and after doing this course anyone can easily apply for the Posts of Staff Nurse in Himachal Pradesh.
BSC Nursing
To join the BSC Nursing Course, a candidate must be a 12th pass from the PCB stream and must have at least 50% marks. This course also has a duration of 3 years and after doing BSC Nursing anyone can not apply for any kind of Staff Nursing Vacancies but can also apply for the Post of teachers in any recognized Medical Institue as well as Govt. Nursing Institutes.
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
Anyone 10th pass can join the course of ANM. The duration of the ANM course is one and a Half Years. After completing the ANM course, you can apply for Staff Nursing vacancies for which applications are invited by the Himachal Pradesh Health Department.
